Many
websites offer waypoints for lakes. The coordinates will lead you to
some crappie fishing areas. The sites do have disclaimers saying that
not all waypoints are checked. Some waypoints are posted or supplied by
anglers that have used them. If you find any waypoints on the internet,
spend the day seeing if they are correct and it would probably be
useful to have a fish locator. It is always a good idea to get some
waypoints from anglers that are local to the lake or some bait shops
may have a few waypoints available.
There
are also places on the Internet where you can save you waypoints in
your own waypoint manager. This is nice to use just in case that GPS or
your hand written notes would simply fall into the water or get lost.
This way you would have an alternative way to retrieve your waypoints.
Once you get some waypoints, you do not want to lose the information so
you can always have one up on the other anglers on the lake.
Crappie
fishing is always fun and once you find some waypoints, you will enjoy
the day more. You will know exactly where to go to find the fish and
take home the daily catch. You will be the envy of all the crappie
anglers. You might even want to share some of your good fortune and
point out some areas for other anglers that do not utilize the waypoint
system. They will thank you for pointing them in the right direction.
