The 3 Different Ways To Filet A Crappie

Next place the fillets in the clean bucket of water, wash and they are ready for cooking.
 
Many anglers find that using an electric knife makes filleting a fish much faster and easier than with a regular fillet knife. Although, there are many anglers that prefer the original method of using a regular six-inch fillet knife.  
 
If you are not ready to cook the crappie right away you can always seal them in zip lock baggies and freeze them to keep the fillets fresh until you are ready for a great meal.
