Greneda Lake Crappie Fishing

If you choose heavier jigs such as a ounce jig, the fish will see them better without much action at all.  The bait fish tend to be larger this time of the year, so they will bite bigger bait, and if you are fishing for crappie, a bigger jig will discourage yellow bass.  Just suspend a few inches off the bottom in water at least 15 feet deep, and hold your jig very still, for best results.
