Lake Arrowhead: Located about fifteen miles southeast of
Wichita Falls off of US Highway 281, about 15,000 acres of water
surface.
Lake Bob Sandlin: Located on the Big Cypress Creek about five
miles from Mount
Pleasant in Titus, also located in Franklin and Camp counties, about
9000 acres of water surface.
Lake Conroe: Located on the West Fork of the San Jacinto
River in the counties of Montgomery and Walker, about 20,000 acres of
water surface area.
Lake Corpus Christi: Located in San Patricio this is a Nueces
River watershed, you'll find it located near Live Oak and Jim Wells
counties as well, and about 20 miles northeast of the city of Corpus
Christi.
Lake Livingston: Located on the Trinity River in the counties
of Polk, Trinity,
Walker and San Jacinto, there is a dam located in Polk and San Jacinto
great for fishing near, the late is west of the city of Livingston and
about 50 miles outside of Houston, this is a large 90,000 acres of
water surface area.
Lake Lyndon B Johnson: A great small lake on the Colorado
River in the county of Burnet, it is near Marble Falls, Granite Shoals
and Kingsland, and has a surface area of 6400 acres.
These are just a few of the many lakes that you'll find Texas crappie
fishing abundant in. And, do not forget the small ponds and
rivers, either, as they often have a large supply of fish for you to
enjoy spending your mornings and evenings (the best time to catch
crappie) fishing for. Try out several of these locations.
