South Carolina Crappie Fishing

In the winter, crappie tend to move their schools to deeper water, and they are just not as active. Being less active means they feed less, but they do feed. Use small worms and crappie jigs, and be sure to fish deep and move your bait slowly. These crappie will be lethargic, but they can be caught particularly in deep cover and around deep structure.
