I%u2019m looking for some new crappie fish recipes, what are your favorites?
I have two favorite crappie fish recipes. They are easy to make and boy do they taste delicious. Crappie Cajun Style and Crappie and Honey are my favorites. They can be made quickly and be enjoyed by everyone. Crappie Cajun Style Mix two tablespoons of Cajun seasoning to two cups of flour. Add a pinch of salt, pepper and garlic (optional) Mix two tablespoons of milk to two eggs and beat well. Six to eight crappie filets Roll each filet in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture and then in the flour again. Deep fry in a pan of hot oil or place in a deep fryer until golden brown. Crappie and Honey Six to eight crappie filets One cup of crushed saltine crackers 1/2 cup flour Salt and pepper One egg 1/2 cup milk One teaspoon honey Mix the flour and crackers together. Add the salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, mix the honey, milk and egg. Beat the mixture well. Dip the crappie filets in the honey mix and then in the flour mix. Fry in a pan with hot oil or deep fry until golden brown. These recipes as you can see are very easy to make and you do not need a lot of ingredients. In fact, you might even have most of the ingredients needed. You will prepare a meal that the entire family will enjoy. The honey recipe is mild, but the Cajun recipe might be a little spicy for the little ones.
