Is have a crappie guide important?

How important is it to hire a Crappie guide when planning a fishing trip?

Most fishermen realize the importance of purchasing the right equipment, however, few realize the importance of having a good guide along on the trip.  When planning a fishing trip, hiring a Crappie guide will seriously decrease the amount of time you spend hunting for Crappie instead of fishing for them.  When choosing a guide, however, it’s important to ask questions and make sure that you’re provided with a detailed account of what you should expect for the day.  In most cases, hiring a guide will eliminate the need for a boat and most of the necessary equipment.  A good guide should be able to give you a decent idea of your probable catch for the day as well as tell you when the Crappie are biting.  Depending on your skill level,  when comparing the cost of purchasing or renting equipment plus the time you’ll spend looking for the fish, hiring a guide just might prove to be more economical in the long run.  Having an experienced fishing guide along will also eliminate some of the frustration that faces all of us when we’re on the lake, allowing you to concentrate on catching the Crappie instead of wondering where they are.
