What are crappie magnets?

Crappie magnets are made by Leland lures and are said to be a great advantage whenever you are fishing for crappie. Many experienced crappie anglers swear by Leland Lures’ Crappie Magnets, when it comes to catching crappie! Here is how you can best fish the Crappie Magnet: * When crappie are holding at no more than eight feet, use a float to keep it at the right depth to stay with the crappie. * Or, you can fish the crappie magnet vertically and just drop your lure down to the depth that the fish are holding, and keep it there until you get a bite. Keep your Crappie Magnet still for best results. Try Crappie Niblets if you seem to be getting fewer bites than you think you should. Crappie Magnets are sold in different ways. You can purchase the 96 piece Crappie Magnet Kit for about $10. It comes with: Ten 1/32 ounce heads Four 1/16 ounce heads Two Floats Eighty bodies Crappie Magnet 7 Piece Packs come with Five bodies and two 1/32 ounce hooks in a size six, for a little less than two dollars, US. The best colors for catching crappie seem to be Black and Chartreuse, Red and Chartreuse, Chartreuse with a silver flash, and Chartreuse with a black flake. Crappie Magnet 10 pc. Body Packs cost about $1.35 US, but the hooks will have to be bought separately. The bodies are made specifically to work in conjunction with the shad dart head in 1/32 or 1/16 for best results.
