You know, it’s funny how sometimes fish have “tastes” kind of like people do.  Crappie are no different.  Usually, I have found, that using live bait in almost any situation is by far the best.  But when they stop biting on the minnows, it may be time to switch to some jigs.

Tube jigs with the white and red skirt work best in these situations.  Pop it nice and slow, and you’ll stimulate some bites.  And if that doesn’t work - throw in a gold fish…I’m serious - do it!
